It’s a program that you can use to chat with visitors who come to your website. All you need to do is install the software on whatever pages you like via a code snippet and you are good to go.
Once the code is live on your website visitors will see a little blue box pop up in the bottom right corner of the browser prompting them to ask for help or to initiate a live chat.
LiveChat is a great function to have on a website.
That vast majority of problems that customers have browsing your website can often be solved by simply chatting with someone for a few minutes.
Customers love it to because of the ability to easily talk to a human being.
All of the chat expereinces I’ve had so far have been very pleasant and like many others who use LiveChat Inc I’ve seen an increase in leads, sales, and overall customer sanctification.
LiveChat seems like a great feature to add to any type of service or Ecommerce store but should you use LiveChat on blogs and personal websites?
In this review I am going to share with my results I’ve gotten thus far by using LiveChat Inc on my blog thus far.
Should You Run LiveChat on Your Blog?
This is a good question…
To be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started using Live Chat. I honestly expected most people to just ignore it and if anyone really wanted to get a hold of me they would do it via email.
To my surprise I actually had quite a few people chat with me. I think I had about a dozen or so people use the live chat feature on my blog in the last month. (This blog is roughly 30-40 days old…)
The cool thing about LiveChat Inc is that they let you download the software onto your computer and whenever you feel like chatting you can turn on the green light.
If you are away from your PC or do not feel like chatting then the pop-up will show a form where they can submit their question and it will automatically create a support ticket you can answer whenever you have some free time.
For most business’s you are going to want to hire extra help to handle the live chat so that you can offer support 24 hours a day but if you are a small blogger there’s no reason why you can’t turn on the feature for a few hours a day.
This is something that you can do it really separate yourself from others.
In fact a lot of my visitors were quite surprised when they found out they were talking to the actual owner of the blog, me!.
This also gave me valuable information about my customers as well that I can use later on in creating my products and services.
To get back on track with the initial question here is my final answer…
As long as you are selling a product, service, or as an affiliate you can benefit from installing Live Chat on your blog.
My Experience With Using Live Chat Inc On My Blog
One cool tactic I did was install Live Chat on my teachable school as well so when people land on my courses homepage they will see the chat notification pop up.
This is great for getting people over the fence who might be hung up on a minor detail or two when they you promote your product to them.
I know that in the past I’ve used live chat when purchasing services and software and generally speaking it is great for finalizing a sale.
I’ve used it myself personally to answer a few small questions and then went on to purchase the product because of my wonderful live chat experience.
This first years ago when I bought my first hosting package from HostGator.
I also ran Live Chat Inc on my blog like I previously mentioned and enjoyed it a lot.
Since everyone has to submit their email and name before they initiate a live chat you can also connect the service to your favorite email autoresponder as well.
I’ve also been able to use LiveChat to direct people to my free offers and other lead magnets so overall my business and conversion rates across the board have increased since installing Live Chat on my website.
For those of you who want results I’ve sold 3 copies of my “How To Create Your Very First Profitable Online Course” From people chatting with me.
I’m not sure if they would have bought without the live chat feature but it’s definitely safe to say that it made their decision to buy a lot easier!
That’s how powerful this can be even for blogs that are new and aren’t getting a lot of traffic.
This blog is only 30 days old in case you were wondering…
The following are the pro’s of using Live Chat Inc.
- They offer a 30 day free trial that allows you to test the software out before you pay for a monthly subscription. You can grab the 30 day free trial by clicking here.
- The software is fast, responsive and runs in your desktops background.
- Lot’s of opportunities for integration on the platform.
- Customer service has been top notch!
- Starting Pricing plans are pretty cheap considering what the service can do for your business.
- A good opportunity for bloggers to separate themselves from others as many people do not offer live chat features on their blogs.
- If you are starting out as a blogger than doing everything yourself can be tough which might require you to outsource so that you don’t have to be at your computer all day. I solved this problem by turning it on whenever I did work at the computer and answering the occasional live chat request as they came in.
- If you have a blog or website with lots of traffic you will eventually need to outsource.
Overall I am quite satisfied with my experience with Live Chat Inc and I’d highly recommend it to everyone.
The software is great, runs well, support was great and the 30 day free trial is everything you need to test out the software for yourself to see if it works for you.
