When I started selling courses online a few years ago one of my main goals was to diversify my income streams as much as possible.
Because then if one platform tanks, I simply move onto a different one. My income might drop a bit but at least it won’t be the end of the world.
One of my main sources of income these days is Udemy, but if Udemy disappeared tomorrow would I still be making enough money online?
Yes, because I’ve successfully diversified my income over the past year and I continue to do so till this day. It’s something that you should always be doing at least to some extent. Trust me, I learned this the hard way many years ago.
If you want more types of how to make passive income online from many different places check out this post.
How To Create and Sell Courses From Your Own Blog
The biggest end-goal for most bloggers and content creators should be selling your own products from your own sources of traffic. This way you guarantee long-term stable income that continues to grow overtime.
You can’t always control your income directly but you should try as hard as you can to make things as consistent as possible.
One of the ways I’ve been trying to do this lately is selling my own courses from my own school. I’ve had my school online for a few months now and I’ve been getting the occasional sale here and there.
About a week ago I tried creating a membership package as well to bundle all my Teachable courses online and I’ve seen good results from that so far.
If you want to sign up to my Easy Passive Income Tips School you can grab all my courses for only $9 a month by clicking here, it’s a steal of a deal!
That’s what I’ve been doing lately and it’s been working, but in order to give you a better idea of how I do this let’s talk a little bit more about whats going on behind the scenes.
How I Sell My Own Courses From My Blog
I have many different platforms online from which people discover my content. I regularly post videos on YouTube, Udemy, Skillshare, and of course on this blog. The content directly helps sell my courses and products but not all people will convert this way, only a small percentage will.
Most people will convert after being exposed to your services/products many times. They might not buy today, but someone on your email list might buy your course 2 months from now.
This is why I funnel as much as my online traffic to my email list, or even my YouTube Channel or some type of subscription service so that they can continue to see my content.
When the time is right they will buy, and like I said while they are deciding if my products are right for them, they are also viewing my content, sharing my videos, and supporting me for what I do and I greatly appreciate that!
Now I do have some paid courses that go into more details about how I make my money online but this post pretty much sums everything up in a nutshell without the hard details.
For those of you who want a better explanation about the whole system try reading my post about how I made over $15,000 in my first year of selling courses online, that post really highlights my journey and where I’ve come to where I am today.
For those of you who want to get right to it, then check out my monthly subscription plan by clicking here, heck I even have some free courses on my school as well if you like.
Regardless of what you choose to do I want to once again thank you for being here today.
This post was made to give you an overview of how my system works and how easy it is to implement. The hard part is actually doing the work, but if you work hard and smart you can do it!
