This short little video will walk you through the process of adding a MailChimp Sign-up and Pop-up form to your WordPress Blog.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to make passive income online and I highly recommend it!
Although it can be tricky to get started with, anyone can start earning with affiliate marketing, you just need to learn how to do it correctly.
The cool thing about affiliate marketing is that there’s so many different way to do it. For example, I do about 3 different kinds of affiliate marketing and they all generate sales and commissions.
Weather you are a complete newbie to affiliate marketing or an experienced affiliate marketer you can benefit by learning a thing or two from someone new.
Today I dedicated to put together a top 5 list of my favorite affiliate marketing courses on Udemy (Affiliate Link).
Check them out below:
P.S – I am an affiliate of Udemy so if you click on any of the links and decide to buy a course I will get paid a small commission, and I am thankful for that.
This is one of the most popular courses on Udemy and I think it’s because of the fact that not having a website is attractive for beginners because it is a lower barrier to entry, as well as the fact that the course is put together very well.
Although I reccomend that everyone has their own blog that they do affiliate marketing on, you can still start earning without one. For those who don’t have a blog, I’d recommend HostGator (Affiliate Link)
This course is pretty cool as it takes a different approach to your usual affiliate marketing course. With this course you will learn how to use Facebook ads to drive traffic to Treespring and sell t-shirts from the platform.
This is something that I’ve wanted to learn how to do in the past and even though I am enrolled in this course I have yet to go through it. It’s on my list as soon as I can get to it.
This is more your traditional style of affiliate marketing with the focus on promoting products on a website in a very focused and narrow niche. This course will teach you how to sell products on Amazon as well as the popular affiliate network Clickbank.
This course is a little bit shorter than the others but is perfect for those of you who prefer to do the niche site approach to affiliate marketing which is still very effective these days.
This next course focuses on multiple ways to get started as a beginner affiliate marketer. You will learn how to build a website, find product to promote and how to get traffic to your website organically and with Google Adwords as well.
This course will take you a little bit longer to get through as it totals almost 5 hours in length!
Do you think I’ve been saving the best for last? Well truth be told, all these courses are of good quality but yah, this one is definitely the best affiliate marketing course I’ve personally have come across on Udemy.
This bad boy will introduce you to affiliate marketing, and show you how to build a very high quality website that in my experience is the best at making long-term stable income with affiliate marketing.
Be prepared to save this one for the weekend as it totals over 7 hours in video content. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
That’s all for this list! I hope you enjoyed it.
Are you new to affiliate marketing? If so, what are you struggling with the most? Let me know in the comments section below!
It’s that time of the month again, it’s time to take a look at the numbers and see how much passive income I was able to generate over the past 30 days. Check out my blog income report for October here.
This income report is going to be a little bit different as there are some new sources of income that I will be adding in addition to everything else that I usually do. I’ve been doing some Cryptocurrency trading and investing in bitcoin over the past 6 months which I’m going to include here as well which is something I don’t normally do.
Passive Income Made Easy
The first source of income that we are going to be focusing on is my very own online school. Passive Income Made Easy is my own Teachable school that I launched a couple of months ago. Every month I get a few course sales and this month I added a new option for students to enroll. Along with the option of paying for courses individually, students can now enroll in a monthly subscription for only $9 a month.
I got the idea to start doing this from Phil Ebiner and after seeing the success that he was having by doing this. The results from this month have been pretty good, I’ve made around $200 in course sales as well as 3 subscription enrollments. 1 enrollment was full price while 2 were during the my Black Friday promotion I ran where I offered the first month subscription for only $1.
This might seen like a small number but remember subscriptions are reoccurring payments and they add up over time. The good thing about a low cost subscription is that it’s easily affordable and allows me to continually make a stable source of income.
I spent the vast majority of my time setting the school up, adding new courses, and promoting the subscription option. I plan on spending the majority of my time in December doing this as well.
Total income from Passive Income Made Easy: $211.
As predicted I had a pretty good month on Udemy for November. Every year Udemy runs a massive Black Friday sale where they drive a lot of revenue and students to your courses over only a couple of days. We did pretty good this month bringing $1,298.38 in total sales! I’m pretty happy with this number and love the fact that my Udemy courses continue to sell even though it’s not my main focus these days.
Because November does so well I’m expecting December to not be as good but then again January has been a pretty good month historically as well on the platform. Udemy usually runs a big promo for New Years as well.
Other than that I haven’t done much on Udemy. I did launch one course on Udemy (How To Create Your Very First Online Course) but haven’t had time to do any promotion or marketing. After the New Year I’m planning to focus more on promoting my Udemy courses once again, and I still think it’s a great place for anyone to publish a course on.
Total Income From Udemy: $1,298.38
Skillshare is another platform that I sell online courses on. I don’t publish many courses anymore and I do next to no promotion on the platform ether. Regardless, because of work I did in the past I still make income on a monthly basis.
In November I made a total of $70.59 from premium minutes watched on my courses and another $30 from referrals. I did a review of Skillshare a little while ago that continues to drive traffic and make me commissions on students signing up to the platform.
I still recommend anyone just starting out to upload any courses or videos that you can to Skillshare.
Total Income From Skillshare: $130.59
YouTube is something that I really enjoy doing, sadly this month I wasn’t able to dedicate as much time as I would have liked but still I’ve been plugging away. My Channel has been growing steadily currently at 3,451 subscribers.
If enjoy making videos then I highly recommend you make your own channel and start uploading right away! Stats from this month have been pretty similar to last month with some small increases and decreases.
Honestly as long as my subscriber base keeps growing which it has been I’m happy!
Amazon Video Direct is something I’m starting to see some potential in. Unfortunately I only have 4 videos published on the platform, perhaps I will do an experiment in the near future and start uploading more content and see how much higher I can spike my earnings…
Total Income From Youtube: $113.86
Amazon Video Direct: $0.60
Affiliate Programs and Sponsored Reviews
My affiliate programs for the month have been a little weird. Some programs I’ve seen increases in sales and conversions while others haven’t done as well. I also haven’t been focusing on affiliate marketing as much ether with my main emphasis being on promoting my online school.
I think because everyone was working really hard for Black Friday sales overall my affiliate income is a little bit low this month.
Regardless the great thing about affiliate programs is that they are indeed a great source of passive income. I also did my first sponsored review of LiveAgent which was a nice little bit of income for the blog. If you would like me to review your product or service feel free to visit my Advertise page and get in touch.
Here are the stats from all the various programs that I am a part of:
Amazon Associates: $0.82
Impact Radius: $6
ServerPress Desktop Server: $19.00
Sponsored Reviews: $100
Total Affiliate Marketing Income: $186.22
So why not?
Because the price of bitcoin is always changing it’s hard to determine how much money I am making per month. What I decided to do is take the previous month and compare to the price of bitcoin for this month. So if we take my total amount of bitcoin I currently have which is…
If we look at the price of Bitcoin on November 1st ($6,119) we can guess that during that time I had $1259 worth of bitcoin. It’s now the beginning of December and that same bitcoin is worth $2407. I don’t do that much bitcoin or Cryptocurrency trading, there’s been a few I’ve traded and made some small gains but at the moment I’ve just held it on the exchange and have been making income off of margin lending.
Other then that there hasn’t been anything else I’ve been up to. I do want to go ahead and mention that I am going to be doing my first ever Webinar this coming Thursday on December 7th. We will be talking about affiliate marketing and how you can get started earning affiliate income from scratch.
You can sign-up by clicking here if you like.
If you are reading this and it’s too late to attend the webinar, all recordings will be available for members of Passive Income Made Easy.
To summarize up my total passive Income, I’ve made a total of $3417 and I’m pretty happy with that. My main focus for December will be doing more promotion for my online school and getting students subscribed to the payment plan.
Maybe after that we could try a case study with Amazon Video Direct or something similar?

The following post is a review of the email marketing platform that I personally use called Aweber. Aweber has been around for a really long time and for a good reason. After so many years does Aweber still live up to the hype?
Let’s find out!
First thing’s first, lets talk about what Aweber really is. Aweber is an email marketing platform used to build and collect email address so that you can easily send out mass emails. You can also use Aweber to set-up an automated series which is commonly referred to as an autoresponder.
At the time of writing this Aweber is currently offering a 30 day free trial for anyone for is interested. You can grab your 30 day free trial and test drive the service out for yourself by clicking here.
Aweber has a few different pricing plans. The cheapest plan starts at $19 a month for up to 500 subscribers. The largest plan features 10,000 – 25,000 email subscribers for $149 a month. When it comes to pricing these rates are pretty standard in the industry if you ask me.
All pricing plans comes loaded with all features so the only thing you are paying for is to have more subscribers on your list.
Aweber comes with a load of features like most email autoresponder services these days. Here are some of the basic features that Aweber offers:
- Email Newsletters
- Drag and Drop Editors
- HTML Templates
- Automated campaigns and Autoresponder series
- Tagging to trigger automated tasks
- Sign-up Forms
- Mobile Apps
- And more….
Who Should Go With Aweber
Because I’ve used Aweber for years now and it was one of the first email marketing services I actually enjoyed I have to recommend it to two different types of people.
The first type of person who will benefit from Aweber is someone who likes things simple. Aweber is by far one of the easiest platforms to use to set-up an email list and get an autoresponder going. The interface is laid out really well and you don’t have to worry about being overwhelmed with all those different segmentation options that everyone talks about.
The second type of person that I think that will highly benefit with Aweber is anyone who is a newbie to email marketing. Aweber is by far the easiest way to set-up a simple email list and get it online for a decent price.
If that sounds like you then I would highly recommend you go with Aweber. I’ve used them myself for years and I’ve had virtually no issues whatsoever, I like to keep things simple yet effective.
How I Use Aweber To Make Money Online
Before I talk more about Aweber I’m going to to tell you a story about how I made my first sale for my Easy Passive Income Tips Membership Website.
I use YouTube, my blog and other social media platforms to get people onto my email list. You’ve probably noticed the sign-up forms on my blog? Those forms are used to get people onto my email list so that I can share my content, help them out, and then in return promote my content to them.
I do all of this with Aweber, and I have an automated series of emails that go out whenever someone subscribers. One of the emails that I recently added was an email that promoted my online school. As soon as I sent the email I had someone sign-up instantly. That’s the power of email marketing and this is why I continue to use Aweber for all my email marketing needs.
Now that I talked about Aweber a little bit let’s go over the pros and cons of this service…
- Great interface and easy to use
- Decent pricing on plans
- By far the easiest way to get an email list up and running.
- Integrate with almost every piece of software out there
- Limited customization and segmentation
To sum things up I think Aweber is a great service to use and get started with especially if you are new to email marketing or just blogging in general. Everyone can benefit from having an email list, if you still want to give it a go I recommend the Aweber Free Trial.
Got an question about Aweber or email marketing in general? Let me know in the comments below!
When I started selling courses online a few years ago one of my main goals was to diversify my income streams as much as possible.
Because then if one platform tanks, I simply move onto a different one. My income might drop a bit but at least it won’t be the end of the world.
One of my main sources of income these days is Udemy, but if Udemy disappeared tomorrow would I still be making enough money online?
Yes, because I’ve successfully diversified my income over the past year and I continue to do so till this day. It’s something that you should always be doing at least to some extent. Trust me, I learned this the hard way many years ago.
If you want more types of how to make passive income online from many different places check out this post.
How To Create and Sell Courses From Your Own Blog
The biggest end-goal for most bloggers and content creators should be selling your own products from your own sources of traffic. This way you guarantee long-term stable income that continues to grow overtime.
You can’t always control your income directly but you should try as hard as you can to make things as consistent as possible.
One of the ways I’ve been trying to do this lately is selling my own courses from my own school. I’ve had my school online for a few months now and I’ve been getting the occasional sale here and there.
About a week ago I tried creating a membership package as well to bundle all my Teachable courses online and I’ve seen good results from that so far.
If you want to sign up to my Easy Passive Income Tips School you can grab all my courses for only $9 a month by clicking here, it’s a steal of a deal!
That’s what I’ve been doing lately and it’s been working, but in order to give you a better idea of how I do this let’s talk a little bit more about whats going on behind the scenes.
How I Sell My Own Courses From My Blog
I have many different platforms online from which people discover my content. I regularly post videos on YouTube, Udemy, Skillshare, and of course on this blog. The content directly helps sell my courses and products but not all people will convert this way, only a small percentage will.
Most people will convert after being exposed to your services/products many times. They might not buy today, but someone on your email list might buy your course 2 months from now.
This is why I funnel as much as my online traffic to my email list, or even my YouTube Channel or some type of subscription service so that they can continue to see my content.
When the time is right they will buy, and like I said while they are deciding if my products are right for them, they are also viewing my content, sharing my videos, and supporting me for what I do and I greatly appreciate that!
Now I do have some paid courses that go into more details about how I make my money online but this post pretty much sums everything up in a nutshell without the hard details.
For those of you who want a better explanation about the whole system try reading my post about how I made over $15,000 in my first year of selling courses online, that post really highlights my journey and where I’ve come to where I am today.
For those of you who want to get right to it, then check out my monthly subscription plan by clicking here, heck I even have some free courses on my school as well if you like.
Regardless of what you choose to do I want to once again thank you for being here today.
This post was made to give you an overview of how my system works and how easy it is to implement. The hard part is actually doing the work, but if you work hard and smart you can do it!

Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways to earn money online and that’s because its really easy to get started with.
All you need to do is refer traffic to a website and if a visitor makes a sale you will generally make some percentage of the sale (commission).
For example, I am an affiliate for Amazon Associates. Whenever someone clicks my link, buys something off Amazon within 24 hours I get a small percentage of the sale.
This is how the vast majority of affiliate programs work. Now, there’s a lot of different networks and programs you can use to get started but I’m not going to list them here.
What I am going to talk about however is 3 ways you can start earning more with affiliate marketing on your blog.
Write a Review
The first tip that I recommend that everyone starts doing is writing reviews of products that you are currently using. This way you know that the product is of good quality and naturally it will be easy for you to write a review.
Inside the review talk about the product and the company, who it is for, and the pros and cons from your own personal experience.
Reviews are by far the best way to make money with affiliate marketing. They convert very well and people regularly look for reviews before the buy a product making this an easy way to get traffic to your blog or YouTube Channel.
If you want a good example of how to do this check out my Skillshare Review I did a few weeks ago.
That post/video has already earned me 5 referrals this month at $10 each!
Add Your Review To an Email Autoresponder
The next step is to start building an email list and then adding your review into your auto-responder series so that you can set it and forget it.
I usually do around 3-4 educational or content heavy emails per every review I do. Some people would consider reviews to be good quality content and they definitely are but some people will see them as being a little bit promotional.
I do 3 -4 emails (1-2 weeks worth) and then do a promotional email. That’s what I’ve been doing lately and it’s been working out quite well for me.
As you build out your email list and get new subscribers you will slowly but surely be increasing your passive income over time every time you write an email and add it to your auto responder series.
Turn Your Review Into a YouTube Video
Video is a very underrated way of making some passive income with affiliate marketing. Some people are doing quite well with it including myself.
There is less competition on video sites like YouTube which makes it easier to rank for products and program reviews on the platform.
It’s a little bit harder to convert but sticking a link in the description of a video DOES work decently well depending on how much traffic your video gets.
In my experience my review style videos do rank decently well and have even helped me grow out my channel, earn ad revenue, provide valuable content and make me some side income with affiliate marketing as well.
After you write up your blog post, add it to your email list and then do a review and upload it to YouTube. If you do this I guarantee you will start earning passive income with affiliate marketing.
It takes time to build up these posts and for them to rank but as time goes on you will start to see trickles of referrals coming in especially when you grow your own email list at the same time.
Those are my top 3 tips for earning passive income with affiliate marketing. If you liked this article please share it on social media with your friends!
